a day of thanks

I always have loved Thanksgiving. The tradition in my family growing up was close friends coming together due to our little family of four. The brood has expanded over the years, fiancees and girlfriends have joined the mix, and now their are two delcious turkeys to devour. one is baked (naturally) the other is fried and smells like heaven. I still remember the first time my father and godfather attempted to fry a turkey. It was a dry (fry) run for thanksgiving and they were plowed off their asses! They also attempted to do it in the garage which is a huge no. Its one of my fondest memories of my godfather because it was just such a hilarious memory that emodies my family.
